Spectacular Journeys Sardinia

Day 1

Day 2
Let Explore Cagliari!
Discover Cagliari in a fun and relaxed way on a Tuk Tuk tour that blends history, scenery, and nature. The tour begins in the Centro Storico, cruising through the four historic districts—Castello, Marina, Stampace, and Villanova—with time for photos and to enjoy the city’s charming streets and viewpoints. It then continues along the coast and natural landscapes, passing Marina Piccola, the Calamosca Lighthouse, and the Faro di Capo Sant’Elia, with panoramic views over the Gulf of Angels, before crossing the Molentargius–Saline Natural Park, home to lagoons famous for their flamingos.
At lunchtime, enjoy a Cagliari Sardinian Food Tour through the historic center, where daily life, history, and gastronomy come together. Explore the same four neighborhoods while sampling traditional dishes and street-food specialties such as fregola, pane carasau, and handmade pasta, guided by the aromas of local kitchens and markets, and ending with traditional desserts. This experience highlights Cagliari’s seasonal ingredients, local producers, and rich culinary heritage.
The afternoon is free to explore the city further, shop, or return to the beachfront accommodations to relax and enjoy the sea.
Welcome to Sardinia
Cagliari Sardinia's Capital

Private transfer from Cagliari airport to our beach front accommodation in Poetta.
We start our Spectacular Journeys of Sardinia in Cagliari, the lively capital of Sardinia, is a captivating blend of history, culture, and natural beauty, set along the island’s sun-drenched southern coast. Framed by stunning beaches and crystal-clear waters, the city’s story stretches back through the ages, shaped by Phoenician, Carthaginian, and Roman civilizations. Its historic heart reveals remarkable landmarks such as the Roman Amphitheater, the National Archaeological Museum, and the atmospheric Castello district, perched high above the city with sweeping views over the Gulf of Cagliari. Everyday life unfolds in colorful neighborhoods and vibrant markets like San Benedetto, where local produce, crafts, and Sardinian specialties bring the island’s culinary traditions to life. With its seamless mix of ancient heritage, seaside landscapes, and authentic local energy, Cagliari is an essential and unforgettable destination in Sardinia.

Day 3
Nora & Pula
Today our private driver takes us to Nora and Pula. Nora is one of Sardinia’s most evocative and atmospheric archaeological sites, set dramatically on a narrow peninsula just outside the seaside town of Pula, where turquoise waters meet ancient history. Founded by the Phoenicians and later developed by the Romans, Nora feels almost suspended between land and sea, with sweeping coastal views in every direction. As we wander among its remarkably preserved ruins, we discover Roman roads, thermal baths, temples, elegant villas, and a beautifully intact theater overlooking the sea, still used for performances today. Intricate mosaics glint in the sunlight, while the sound of waves gently frames the experience, creating a rare harmony between archaeology and nature. Compact yet deeply atmospheric, Nora is both a cultural highlight and a serene coastal escape after exploring Nora we will head to one of the Pula beach clubs enjoy a seaside lunch and some time for a swim in the stunning turquoise waters

Day 4
The Ancient Wonders of Nuraghe and Transfer to Alghero

Today we transfer to Alghero. On the way we stop in Nuraghe. Where we tak a journey back more than 3,000 years into one of the Mediterranean’s most mysterious civilizations. Leaving the coast behind, we travel through rolling countryside dotted with olive groves, vineyards, and grazing sheep until the iconic stone towers of the Nuragic world rise from the landscape. At sites such as Su Nuraxi di Barumini, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, you explore massive beehive-shaped towers, winding stone corridors, inner courtyards, and ancient staircases, learning how these Bronze Age structures once served as fortresses, homes, and community centers. Guided visits bring the stones to life with stories of warriors, rituals, and daily life in prehistoric Sardinia. We will stop for a wonderful farm to table lunch prior to reaching Alghero

Day 5
Boat Day:
Neptune’s Grotto & Capo Caccia
Today we sett out from Alghero’s marina on an unforgettable boat day that showcases the wild beauty of Sardinia’s northwest coast. Your captain cruises along the turquoise shoreline toward the towering limestone cliffs of Capo Caccia, where the scenery becomes bold, dramatic, and impossibly photogenic. Drop anchor in hidden coves like Cala Dragunara and Cala dell’Olandese, slipping into crystal-clear water for refreshing swims and lazy sun-soaked moments on deck. The highlight is a visit to the legendary Neptune’s Grotto, a vast cathedral-like sea cave filled with shimmering pools and extraordinary stalactite formations. With plenty of snorkeling time in the protected Porto Conte Marine Reserve, you’ll glide above bright sea grass meadows and schools of fish in some of the clearest water on the island—an exhilarating, picture-perfect day on the water.

Day 6

Free Day to Enjoy the Breathtaking Beaches
A perfect beach day in Alghero begins with choosing one or perhaps all three standout shores, each offering a different kind of paradise but all within easy reach of the town center. Maria Pia Beach - A long stretch of powdery white sand backed by whispering pine forests. Its calm, shallow turquoise water makes it ideal for relaxing swims, floating for hours, or lounging beneath the natural shade of the pines.
Bombarde Beach, a vibrant, lively cove famous for its crystal-clear water that glows electric blue in the sun. With beach clubs, cafés, and great people-watching, it’s perfect for those who want a mix of relaxation and atmosphere.
Lazzaretto Beach, arguably the most scenic of the three, with multiple small coves framed by smooth rock formations and unbelievably clear, sheltered water. It offers a quieter, more intimate feel.
Whether you choose one or all three, the expansive calm of Maria Pia, the bright energy of Bombarde, or the postcard-perfect coves of Lazzaretto, each delivers a quintessential Alghero beach day—sun-drenched, turquoise, and effortlessly beautiful.

Day 8

Ultimate Boat Day to
La Maddalena Archipelago

Today we enjoy a private boat day in the La Maddalena Archipelago, one of the most unforgettable experiences in the Mediterranean. Setting out from the Costa Smeralda, we will glide over glass-clear water that shifts from sapphire to bright turquoise as you approach the protected islands. The day unfolds through a series of breathtaking stops: the smooth granite coves of Spargi, the luminous lagoon of Santa Maria, and the famous pink-tinged shores of Budelli, whose colors look almost unreal. Swim and snorkel in warm, crystalline bays where the sea is so transparent you can see the sandy bottom from the deck. Many routes include a visit to Cala Coticcio on Caprera—nicknamed “Tahiti” for its shallow, neon-blue water framed by honey-colored rocks. With the sun overhead, a gentle breeze, and the calm island landscapes all around, this boat day feels like drifting through a natural paradise, with each stop more beautiful than the last.

Day 7
Transfer from Alghero to Porto Cervo with Stop in Castelsardo & Farm to Table Lunch
Today our private driver transfers us from Alghero to Porto Cervo. This day becomes a memorable part of our journey with a scenic stop in the medieval coastal town of Castelsardo, perched dramatically above the sea with its ancient castle, narrow stone lanes, and sweeping views over the Gulf of Asinara.
After exploring the historic center and photographing its colorful houses and cliffside cathedrals, continue just a few minutes inland to a traditional Sardinian farmhouse set on rolling hills overlooking the valley and coastline. Here, you can enjoy a true farm-to-table experience featuring handmade pastas, garden vegetables, local cheeses, and slow-cooked meats—an authentic taste of rural Sardinia served in a relaxed, panoramic setting. It’s the perfect way to break up the drive, blending history, scenery, and traditional cuisine before continuing on to the sparkling shores of Porto Cervo.

Day 9
Costa Smeralda Free Day
Explore Porto Cervo & Beaches
Start your day in Porto Cervo, the glimmering heart of the Costa Smeralda, where polished stone walkways wind through the elegant Piazzetta lined with designer boutiques, pastel buildings, and shaded terraces perfect for a morning coffee. Wander down to the superyacht marina to admire some of the Mediterranean’s most impressive boats before heading up to the Stella Maris Church, a striking modernist white structure that offers sweeping views over the port and the emerald-colored sea. In the afternoon, trade glamour for pure coastal beauty at one of the region’s iconic beaches. Grande Pevero unfolds in a wide, soft arc of pale sand and shimmering turquoise water, ideal for long swims and sunbathing, while Capriccioli and nearby La Celvia offer smaller, picture-perfect coves framed by smooth granite rocks and some of the clearest water on the island. Whether you choose the expansive elegance of Pevero or the intimate charm of Capriccioli and La Celvia, the Emerald Coast delivers a dreamy, sun-soaked afternoon by the sea.
