Day 1
Benvenuti a Cefalu!
Welcome to Cefalù, a breathtaking coastal town in the heart of Sicily! With its sun-kissed beaches, charming historic center, and stunning natural landscapes, Cefalù is the perfect place to start our Spectacular Journey!
Cefalù is a destination that will leave you spellbound. this Sicilian coastal gem promises an unforgettable experience that will stay with you long after you've left its shores.
Your private driver will greet you at the Palermo airport with a sign bearing your name. You will be transferred to our 5 star beachfront accommodations.
Day 2
Free Day To Enjoy Cefalu
Immerse yourself in the rich history of Cefalù as you wander through its narrow, winding streets. Marvel at the magnificent Cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage site, with its intricate Byzantine mosaics that tell stories of the town's past. As you explore the town, you'll discover ancient ruins, medieval fortresses, and picturesque squares filled with lively cafes and boutique shops.
Cefalù's golden sandy beaches are truly irresistible. We will have access to our hotels private beach with sun loungers and umbrellas. Additionally, our hotel has a stunning pool and spa area. So today bask in the Mediterranean sun and take a dip in the crystal-clear turquoise waters.
Cefalù offers a variety of activities for everyone. there's no shortage of fun-filled ways to enjoy this day.
Day 3
Palermo & Monreale
Today we are off to Palermo, the vibrant and captivating capital city of Sicily! Get ready to embark on a culinary adventure and immerse yourself in the rich flavors and aromas of this bustling city.
Our journey begins with our private driver taking us to the heart of Palermo, where we will be taken on a guided tour of the city's most iconic landmarks and hidden gems. Marvel at the grandeur of the Palermo Cathedral, a masterpiece of Arab-Norman architecture, and explore the enchanting Quattro Canti, a Baroque square adorned with stunning statues and fountains.
The true essence of Palermo lies in its vibrant markets. Join us as we venture into the bustling streets of the historic markets where the air is filled with the sounds of vendors calling out their fresh produce and the vibrant colors of fruits, vegetables, and spices create a feast for the eyes.
As you wander through the market, our knowledgeable guide will introduce you to the mouthwatering world of Sicilian street food. Indulge in arancini, delectable rice balls filled with ragu, cheese, or vegetables, and sample panelle, chickpea fritters that are crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Sink your teeth into sfincione, a delicious Sicilian-style pizza topped with tomatoes, onions, and cheese, and savor the flavors of caponata, a sweet and sour eggplant dish that is a true culinary delight.
Located halfway between Cefalu and Palermo we will also visit Monreale, nestled in the hills overlooking Palermo.
Home to one of the world's most stunning cathedrals, Monreale is a treasure trove of breathtaking mosaics and intricate architecture. Explore the grandeur of the cathedral, stroll through charming streets, and soak in panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. Experience the beauty and history of Monreale, an enchanting destination that will leave you in awe.
Day 4
Castelbuono & Winery Lunch
Free morning to enjoy the stunning aqua waters of the Tyrrhenian Sea right om our private beach,or take a walk through the historic center.
Around noon our private driver will take us to one of Sicily's most breathtaking wineries, high above Cefalu. We will enjoy amazing wines and an incredible included lunch.
After lunch our private driver will take us to Castelbuono, a picturesque hilltop town set in a captivating landscape. Steeped in history and surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty, Castelbuono offers a charming escape for travelers seeking an authentic Italian experience.
Set against the backdrop of the Madonie Mountains, Castelbuono's medieval charm is evident as you wander through its narrow, winding streets. Admire the ancient architecture, which blends Norman, Arab, and Gothic influences, the Ventimiglia Castle, a magnificent fortress that has stood for centuries.
Day 5
We are off to Taormina!
Our private driver will collect us and our luggage and we will transfer to Taormina. On the way we will do the classic “Godfather” tour and enjoy a wonderful Sicilian lunch.
Step into the footsteps of Don Corleone and experience the iconic settings of medieval hilltop towns and captivating settings that brought this legendary film to life. Whether or not you are familiar with the movies these charming towns and breathtaking landscapes of Sicily will steal your heart!
We begin our journey in the picturesque town of Savoca, where scenes from the movie were filmed. Walk through its quaint streets, lined with historic buildings and ancient churches, and visit Bar Vitelli, the famous café featured in the movie.
We continue to Forza d'Agrò, another charming village that served as the backdrop for memorable scenes. Admire the medieval architecture as you wander through the town's narrow alleys and discover hidden gems around every corner.
Our lunch in a family-owned gem will delight your taste buds!
Then we head to Taormina to check into our beachfront accommodations nestled on a cliff just below the famous balcony city! The most unique private beach and infinity pool will be ours to enjoy for the next 4 nights!
Day 6
Free Day in Vacation Paradise
Today you wake up to sweeping views of Mt. Etna and the Ionian Sea right from your balcony.
Enjoy a perfect vacation day.
Our hotel has a unique private beach which you walk through a cave to enter. It has views of Isola Bella. The infinity pool has stunning views, lovely sun loungers and umbrellas and is serviced by a great restaurant and bar.
If you prefer exploring head up to the city center to shop or stroll or enjoy a wonderful meal.
Today is your day to spend in the way the makes you happiest!
Tonight join us for an included group dinner overlooking Mt. Etna and the Ionian Sea.
Day 7
Private Boat Day
At Spectacular Journeys boat days are our favorite and our clients certainly agree.
Get ready for an unforgettable day on the water! Join us as we set sail from Giardini Naxos for a private boat tour to explore waters around the stunning Isola Bella, Mermaid Bay, and Blue Grotto. As we navigate these breathtaking locations, we'll make stops for swimming and snorkeling in the crystal-clear, azure and turquoise waters of the Ionian Sea.
Our experienced captain and friendly crew will ensure your comfort throughout the journey. You'll have ample time to dive into the inviting sea, and immerse yourself in the natural beauty of these picturesque spots.
But the fun doesn't end there! Onboard our boat, you'll be treated to a delectable multi-course lunch prepared by our talented chef. Indulge in a mouthwatering array of fresh fruits, premium meats, artisanal cheeses, bruschetta, authentic Sicilian appetizers, and local specialties. Feast on pasta or risotto dishes, savor the taste of succulent mussels, and top it all off with tantalizing Sicilian pastry desserts.

Spend time at the beach or pool side at our beautiful accommodations and also explore all Taormina has to offer.
Taormina is a jewel of the Mediterranean, perched on the cliffs of Sicily's east coast. With its breathtaking views, ancient ruins, and charming streets.
Spend some time today exploring Taormina, visit the iconic Teatro Greco, an ancient Greek theater with panoramic views of the sea and Mount Etna. Step back in time as you explore this remarkable open-air amphitheater.
As you stroll along Taormina's picturesque streets, you'll encounter a wealth of historical and architectural treasures. Marvel at the intricate details of the Palazzo Corvaja, a medieval palace. Admire the stunning mosaic floors and opulent interiors of the Palazzo Duca di Santo Stefano, a noble residence dating back to the 14th century. Explore the charming Piazza IX Aprile, where you'll find the iconic Clock Tower and enjoy breathtaking views of the Ionian Sea.
No visit to Taormina is complete without a leisurely walk along the Corso Umberto, the town's main pedestrian street. Indulge in shopping at luxurious boutiques, discover hidden artisan shops, and savor Sicilian delicacies at charming cafes and restaurants. Treat your taste buds to the flavors of the local cuisine.
Day 9
Syracuse & Ortigia
Today we transfer to Syracuse/Ortigia. Two captivating cities in this beautiful region of Sicily. These charming destinations are brimming with rich history, stunning architecture, and breathtaking natural beauty.
We will explore Ortigia and enjoy a traditional lunch at a family owned local favorite. A short stroll across a connecting bridges takes us from Syracuse to Ortigia, a true gem of the region. We will enjoy the labyrinthine streets of the historic center, lined with baroque buildings and adorned with picturesque squares. We will visit the magnificent Cathedral of Syracuse, a stunning blend of architectural styles housing beautiful artworks and relics.
Let’s wander through the Piazza del Duomo, the heart of Ortigia, and the Cathedral and Archbishop's Palace, are examples of exquisite baroque architecture.
For history enthusiasts, the Temple of Apollo is must-see. We will admire the ancient columns and soak in the ambiance of this impressive Doric temple, one of the oldest in Sicily.
Syracuse and Ortigia offer a perfect blend of historical landmarks, cultural experiences, and natural beauty.
After enjoying Ortigia our driver will take us to our 5 Star beachfront resort in Syracuse, which can only be described as SPECTACULAR. We will have 3 nights here and ample opportunities to return to Ortigia for the fabulous restaurants and bars at night.
Day 10
Modica, Ragusa and Noto
Modica
Modica is renowned for its traditional chocolate-making heritage. We will visit the historic chocolate shops, where you can indulge in artisanal delights crafted in the age-old method. The distinct flavor and velvety texture of Modica chocolate will be a treat for your taste buds. We will take a leisurely stroll through the historical center and immerse ourselves in the timeless beauty of this UNESCO-listed site.
We will stop by the magnificent Duomo di San Giorgio, Modica's main cathedral, which showcases an awe-inspiring example of Sicilian Baroque architecture. We will admire the breathtaking views from its location perched atop a hill.
Ragusa
Ragusa offers a captivating blend of old-world charm and natural beauty.
We will explore the two distinct areas of Ragusa: Ragusa Ibla, the historic center, and Ragusa Superiore, the upper town. We will begin in Ragusa Ibla, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its picturesque streets, medieval buildings, and magnificent churches. We will walk through the narrow lanes, adorned with charming balconies and flower-filled courtyards, and discover hidden treasures at every turn.
We will stop for a visit at the Cathedral of San Giorgio, a masterpiece of Baroque architecture that dominates the Ragusa Ibla skyline.
We will stroll to Ragusa Superiore, the modern part of the town, and enjoy the expansive squares and elegant streets lined with shops, restaurants, and cafes. We will discover the rich culinary traditions of Ragusa and enjoy an authentic gastronomic experience.
Noto
As we step into the town, we’ll be greeted by the breathtaking sight of Baroque architecture at its finest. Noto's historic center, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a masterpiece of intricate facades, elegant balconies, and ornate churches. We’ll walk along Corso Vittorio Emanuele, the town's main street, and let the beauty of the buildings transport us to another era.
Noto Cathedral, an architectural gem that stands proudly at the heart of the town. Its grandeur and detailed decorations are sure to leave you in awe.
Day 11
On your final day in Sicily, there are a variety of options to make the most of your time. You can start by taking advantage of the amazing resort amenities. They have a fabulous spa where you can indulge in some well-deserved relaxation. Additionally, there are stunning rock terraces with sun loungers at different levels that offer breathtaking panoramic views of the crystal clear sea and Ortigia.
If you're looking for some truly picturesque moments, we recommend the whirlpool terrace, where you can enjoy magnificent sunset views. For those who prefer a refreshing swim, the Infinity pool is the perfect spot. The pool area also offers restaurant and bar services.
If you're in the mood for a beach day, the sandy private beach awaits. Lounge on a hammock, soak up the sun, and immerse yourself in the magnificent turquoise and aqua waters.
Feeling more adventurous today? You can take a taxi boat right from our resort to Ortigia. Explore more of the charming streets, finish up your souvenir shopping, and discover the local culture and cuisine. You might even want to treat yourself to a leisurely lunch in one of the Piazzas while sipping on some delicious local Sicilian wine.

Day 12
Time to pack up our amazing memories as we enjoy our final Sicilian breakfast and enjoy a private ransfer to Catania airport.
