Day 1
Benvenuti a Cefalu!
Welcome to Cefalù, a breathtaking coastal town in the heart of Sicily! With its sun-kissed beaches, charming historic center, and stunning natural landscapes, Cefalù is the perfect place to start our Spectacular Journey!
Cefalù is a destination that will leave you spellbound. This Sicilian coastal gem promises an unforgettable experience that will stay with you long after you've left its shores.
Your private driver will greet you at the Palermo airport with a sign bearing your name. You will be transferred to our 5-star beachfront accommodation.

Day 2
Free Day To Enjoy Cefalu
Immerse yourself in the rich history of Cefalù as you wander through its narrow, winding streets. Marvel at the magnificent Cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage site, with its intricate Byzantine mosaics that tell stories of the town's past. As you explore the town, you'll discover ancient ruins, medieval fortresses, and picturesque squares filled with lively cafes and boutique shops.
Cefalù's golden sandy beaches are truly irresistible. We will have access to our hotel's private beach with sun loungers and umbrellas. Additionally, our hotel has a stunning pool and spa area. So today bask in the Mediterranean sun and take a dip in the crystal-clear turquoise waters.
Cefalù offers a variety of activities for everyone. There is no shortage of fun-filled ways to enjoy this day.
Day 3
Palermo & Monreale

Today we are off to Palermo, the vibrant and captivating capital city of Sicily! Get ready to embark on a culinary adventure and immerse yourself in the rich flavors and aromas of this bustling city.
Our journey begins with our private driver taking us to the heart of Palermo, where we will be taken on a guided tour of the city's most iconic landmarks and hidden gems. Marvel at the grandeur of the Palermo Cathedral, a masterpiece of Arab-Norman architecture, and explore the enchanting Quattro Canti, a Baroque square adorned with stunning statues and fountains.
The true essence of Palermo lies in its vibrant markets. Join us as we venture into the bustling streets of the historic markets where the air is filled with the sounds of vendors calling out their fresh produce and the vibrant colors of fruits, vegetables, and spices create a feast for the eyes.
As you wander through the market, our knowledgeable guide will introduce you to the mouthwatering world of Sicilian street food. Indulge in arancini, delectable rice balls filled with ragu, cheese, or vegetables, and sample panelle, chickpea fritters that are crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Sink your teeth into sfincione, a delicious Sicilian-style pizza topped with tomatoes, onions, and cheese, and savor the flavors of caponata, a sweet and sour eggplant dish that is a true culinary delight.
Located halfway between Cefalu and Palermo we will also visit Monreale, nestled in the hills overlooking Palermo.
Home to one of the world's most stunning cathedrals, Monreale is a treasure trove of breathtaking mosaics and intricate architecture. Explore the grandeur of the cathedral, stroll through charming streets, and soak in panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. Experience the beauty and history of Monreale, an enchanting destination that will leave you in awe.
Day 4
Castelbuono & Winery Lunch
Today our private driver will take us to one of Sicily's most breathtaking wineries, high above Cefalu. We will enjoy amazing wines and an incredible included lunch.
After lunch our private driver will take us to Castelbuono, a picturesque hilltop town set in a captivating landscape. Steeped in history and surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty, Castelbuono offers a charming escape for travelers seeking an authentic Italian experience.
Set against the backdrop of the Madonie Mountains, Castelbuono's medieval charm is evident as you wander through its narrow, winding streets. Admire the ancient architecture, which blends Norman, Arab, and Gothic influences, the Ventimiglia Castle, a magnificent fortress that has stood for centuries.
Day 5
We are off to Taormina!
Our private driver will collect us and our luggage and we will transfer to Taormina. On the way we will do the classic “Godfather” tour and enjoy a wonderful Sicilian lunch.
Step into the footsteps of Don Corleone and experience the iconic settings of medieval hilltop towns and captivating settings that brought this legendary film to life. Whether or not you are familiar with the movies these charming towns and breathtaking landscapes of Sicily will steal your heart!
We begin our journey in the picturesque town of Savoca, where scenes from the movie were filmed. Walk through its quaint streets, lined with historic buildings and ancient churches, and visit Bar Vitelli, the famous café featured in the movie.
Next, we head to Castelmola.
Perched high above Taormina, Castelmola is a charming hilltop village offering some of the most breathtaking panoramic views in Sicily! With its winding cobblestone streets, ancient stone archways, and cozy cafés serving almond wine, this picturesque gem feels like stepping back in time—perfect for soaking up authentic Sicilian charm and unforgettable vistas of Mount Etna and the sparkling Ionian Sea.
Our lunch in a family-owned gem will delight your taste buds!
Then we head to Taormina to check into our beachfront accommodations nestled on a cliff just below the famous balcony city! The most unique private beach and infinity pool will be ours to enjoy for the next 3 nights!
Day 6
Free Day in Vacation Paradise

Today you wake up to sweeping views of Mt. Etna and the Ionian Sea right from your balcony.
Enjoy a perfect vacation day.
Our hotel has a unique private beach which you walk through a cave to enter. It has views of Isola Bella. The infinity pool has stunning views, lovely sun loungers and umbrellas and is serviced by a great restaurant and bar.
If you prefer exploring, head up to the city center to shop or stroll or enjoy a wonderful meal.

Day 7
Private Boat Day

At Spectacular Journeys boat days are our favorite and our clients certainly agree.
Get ready for an unforgettable day on the water! Join us as we set sail from Giardini Naxos for a private boat tour to explore waters around the stunning Isola Bella, Mermaid Bay, and Blue Grotto. As we navigate these breathtaking locations, we'll make stops for swimming and snorkeling in the crystal-clear, azure and turquoise waters of the Ionian Sea.
Our experienced captain and friendly crew will ensure your comfort throughout the journey. You'll have ample time to dive into the inviting sea, and immerse yourself in the natural beauty of these picturesque spots.
But the fun doesn't end there! Onboard our boat, you'll be treated to a delectable multi-course lunch prepared by our talented chef. Indulge in a mouthwatering array of fresh fruits, premium meats, artisanal cheeses, bruschetta, authentic Sicilian appetizers, and local specialties. Feast on pasta or risotto dishes, savor the taste of succulent mussels, and top it all off with tantalizing Sicilian pastry desserts.

Catania and Ortigia
Catania pulses with energy at the foot of Mount Etna, a city where ancient history meets bold Sicilian spirit. Stroll through bustling markets bursting with color and sound, admire grand Baroque architecture carved from black lava stone, and feel the dramatic presence of the volcano that has shaped the city for centuries. Catania is raw, vibrant, and full of life — a feast for the senses.

Next we are off to Ortigia, the heart of Siracusa, offers an entirely different kind of magic — a romantic island labyrinth of sun-drenched piazzas, seaside promenades, and golden-hued stone buildings. Wander its narrow lanes to find hidden courtyards, artisan boutiques, and cafes overlooking the glittering Ionian Sea. As the sun sets, the scent of the sea and the sound of laughter fill the air, capturing the timeless charm of Sicily at its most enchanting.
Day 9

Noto and Marzamemi
Discover the timeless charm of Noto, Sicily’s Baroque jewel, where honey-colored stone buildings and ornate balconies gleam under the Sicilian sun. Stroll along the elegant Corso Vittorio Emanuele, framed by grand palaces and the magnificent Noto Cathedral, and feel as if you’ve stepped into a living work of art. After exploring this architectural masterpiece, continue to the seaside fishing village of Marzamemi, a postcard-perfect gem bursting with color and coastal charm. Enjoy a leisurely lunch overlooking the turquoise sea, savoring fresh seafood, local pasta, and a glass of crisp Sicilian wine as the sea breeze drifts through the air. Free Day in Sicilian Paradise

Today is the perfect day to relax and soak in the magic of Siracusa/Ortigia! Start by indulging in the resort’s luxurious amenities — unwind at the fabulous spa or lounge on the stunning rock terraces, where tiered sunbeds offer sweeping views of the crystal-clear sea. For a picture-perfect moment, head to the whirlpool terrace at sunset or take a dip in the lovely pool.
If you’re craving sand between your toes, the private beach awaits — stretch out on a hammock and float in the turquoise waters. Feeling adventurous? Hop on a taxi boat from the resort to Ortigia and wander through its charming streets, shop for last-minute treasures, or enjoy a leisurely lunch in a sunny piazza with a glass of Sicilian wine. Day 11
Agrigento - Valley of the Temples

Today our private driver takes us from Ortigia to Agrigento.
Step back in time at the Valley of the Temples, one of Sicily’s most breathtaking archaeological wonders. Set against a backdrop of golden hills and the sparkling Mediterranean, this UNESCO World Heritage site is home to some of the best-preserved ancient Greek temples in the world. Stroll among towering Doric columns dedicated to gods like Hera, Concordia, and Zeus, and imagine the grandeur of ancient Akragas at its peak. As the sun dips low, the temples glow in shades of amber and gold — a scene so stunning it feels almost mythical.
Day 12
Boat Tour of Scala dei Turchi — The Turkish Steps
Today we set off from San Leone port in Agrigento on a scenic boat ride along Sicily’s crystalline coast. As we glide across the deep blue sea, we will pass striking landmarks like the Akragas River mouth and rugged coastline — a gradual build-up to the stunning sight of the Scala dei Turchi, the famous white marl “Turkish Steps” cliffs which look like staircases carved by the sea.
Once at Scala dei Turchi, we will anchor close to the cliffs and have time to dive in for a swim in the clear waters, snorkel among hidden coves, or simply float and admire the dramatic contrast between the white cliffs and the turquoise sea. Photographic moments abound here!
Day 13

As our unforgettable Sicilian adventure comes to an end, we’ll savor one last delicious breakfast filled with the flavors and warmth of Sicily. Take a moment to soak in the views, the sunshine, and the memories we’ve made along the way — from breathtaking coastlines to charming towns and incredible meals. After breakfast, we will enjoy a comfortable private transfer to Palermo Airport, carrying with us not just our luggage, but the spirit of Sicily in our hearts.
